Protection of monuments
One of the activities of the Museum and Exhibition Center in Nakhodka is work on identifying, examining, conducting state historical and cultural expertise in relation to monuments, as well as covering in the media issues on the preservation, use and popularization of cultural heritage objects, which include monuments histories and cultures that are valuable in terms of history, archeology, architecture, urban planning, art, science and technology, aesthetics, ethnology or anthropology, social culture and are evidence of eras and civilizations, true sources of information about the origin and development of culture.
There are 50 monuments in the register of municipal property of the Nakhodka urban district, 27 of which are classified as cultural heritage sites. A careful attitude towards the monuments of history and culture is the patriotic duty of every citizen of Russia.
